Celebrating 50 years of the project management institute and 50 years of advancing the project management profession. There's much to celebrate in our amazing 50 years of history. Our community, our volunteers, and our global presence and influence. Yet we also recognize the future will require us to develop new perspectives and new skills to power this project economy. The good news is that as project professionals we're not just built for change, we have a passion for it. We can't wait to see what the next 50 years holds for PMI and for our profession. We can't wait to see what new ideas we get to bring to reality.

The PMI serves more than 2.9 million professionals including over 500,000 members in 208 countries and territories around the world, with 300 chapters and 10,000 volunteers serving local members in over 80 countries. Its services include the development of standards, research, education, publication, networking-opportunities in local chapters, hosting conferences and training seminars, and providing accreditation in project management.
